Accessibility

We aim to make StarlingGatePress.com usable for people with a range of access needs. If you encounter a barrier, please tell us the page and the difficulty through our contact channel so we can investigate.

Our approach

We design and review the site against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. This is the standard we work toward; it is not a claim of certified conformance.

  • Pages use a logical heading structure and landmarks, with a link to skip to the main content.
  • Menus, links and the contact form can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
  • Form fields have visible labels, and error messages explain what needs to be corrected.
  • Text and interface colors are chosen for readable contrast, and pages reflow when zoomed or viewed on small screens.
  • The site respects reduced-motion settings and does not rely on color alone to convey information.
